Dodge Charger Needing TLC

Hi there! Do you have a project car (not necessarily a Dodge Charger) in your garage, in storage or (heaven forbid) outside just waiting for “the day” when it can ride the open road again? Does it “nag” you every time you see it, serving as a constant reminder of a failed project, a lost love, a change in priorities, a lack of cash, a knowledge gap…..fear? Well, hopefully together we can find a way to rekindle that love and interest, finally begin to make progress (however small and incremental) in completing this project so that the next time you look at it, it will be constant reminder of victory and pride and you can again turn its key, bring it to life and have it grace the roadways and admiring on-lookers.

That's me! Nic

That’s me! Nic

I’m Nic (yes, without a “k”), and I’ve owned a 1968 Dodge Charger (not the one above) for over 20 years and like maybe some of you, it has been sitting in my garage for most of that time (my wife jokes that she’s never sat in the beast – so I jokingly threw a ripped/torn/rusted passenger seat into the shell and told her its ready for her to sit in 🙂 ) just waiting patiently for its time again. So yes, I know what you’re feeling, the hardships you’re going through, the inner/outer conflicts. But in the end, and I hate to admit this to myself, they are all just excuses, getting in the way of what you really want – NOTHING will ever get done if action isn’t taken!

Apart from this being the start of that action, this is my first Blog as well (strange because I’ve been in the tech-industry for longer than I’ve owned the car)! It is my hope that this website will serve as a forum for like-minded car enthusiasts to learn from, contribute to, and show each other our respective progress in giving our cars the respect that they deserve in getting them DONE and back on the road so we and others can enjoy them again.

Visit my Contact page to subscribe if you’re interested in being notified when each new blog post is live and we’ll hopefully meet in email, comments, online or maybe even at an event sometime!
